The patricians knew what they were doing when they built their splendid homes here: La Punt sits in a strategically important location at the foot of the former trade axis over the Albula Pass and the former farming village of Chamues-ch at the entrance of the valley of the chamois, the Val Chamuera. People here are especially proud of the richly decorated farmhouses and magnificent patrician houses dating from the 16th and 17th centuries – of which the Gasthaus Krone is one.
The village stretches along the Inn and across the valley floor of Val Chamuera - the ideal environment for mountain biking, road cycling, inline skating or walking. Families will also find cosy playgrounds and fireplaces by the water.
